Good for people who enjoy the ocean, or at least the thought of the ocean. Join for some or all of the live concerts, special Q&A panels with some of the better surfers we know, golf, beach days, food, health & wellness sessions, surf film night, artists, brands you’ll enjoy, or just come out and say hi to the yellow dog. Several different venues over several different days.

Celebrate Taylor Steele’s 50th Birthday over at The Surf Lodge with activations and performances by Unwritten Law. One of the better events of the summer…on a Tuesday.

Celebrate World Oceans Day with Whalebone and Surfrider for The Fancy Gala. Live Q&A panel with some of your favorite surfers followed by performances by Tangiers Blues Band featuring Danny Clinch. Drinks and light bites included.
Wear something nice. It is a fancy gala. Formal beach attire encouraged.
Portion of proceeds headed to Surfrider.

Join Taylor Steele and the Solento crew for a special Surf Film Q&A and viewing at The Surf Lodge. Drinks and some good humans included.

It’s all in the hips. Join the Whalebone crew for the 2nd Annual golf tournament. Limited food and drinks will be provided to all golfers. Afterparty celebrating the 2nd Annual Whalebone Golf Tournament. The official, un-official launch of Roberta’s Montauk. Limited food and drinks will be provided. Chipping contest and other fun golf-related things. Plus performances by Japancakes.
10AM – 4PM @ The Boneyard Backyard
Artists, makers, photographers and others we enjoy. The Surf Market is the spot to find things to hang on your walls, put on your mantel, light on fire (there’s a candle company) or send to a friend. There will be no NFTs at this market, sorry. Complimentary refreshments are a nice thing when at a market so we’ll do that.
11AM – 1PM @ Montauk Beach House
Join us for a look at who helped start the Empire State with surfing, the men and women who have carried the torch and the importance of the relationships it has formed along the way.
Hotel guests of The Surf Thing will be invited and have access to the pool cabanas at The Montauk Beach House Saturday & Sunday. Floaties not included. Select vendors, cocktails and DJ during the day.
Join us for a night of drinks, dancing and music. Dancing shoes required.
